It was the first Thursday of the holidays and I had just woken up.It was six o clock in the morning and I was the only one who was wide awake.My brother Samuel and my mother were asleep and my other brother Simon was sleeping over at his friend’s house, but I knew exactly what to do...go on the laptop.I tip toed across the floor like a mouse to Simon’s room where the laptop was trying not to make the slitest noise.When I reached my brother’s room door, I pushed it open I somehow could feel a wave of hesitation flowing through me, but that did not stop me.I raced across the floor towards the laptop and my hands launched towards it.I felt like a lion attacking its prey, but I didn’t kill it.

As I held the laptop a grin suddenly appeared on my face. I don’t know why, I had taken the laptop several times in the morning but somehow this time felt really special. I was about to walk out of the room when a beeping noise broke the silence. I looked around searching around wondering where the sound was coming from but to my surprise the source was my watch. The alarm had gone off,and when I checked it, the time was 6:15. I almost screamed. I’ve wasted so much time, I began to panic but I  cooled down shortly after. As I walked out of the room I headed towards the lounge.The door was already half open so all I had to do was give it a small nudge for it to open completely.

I turned on the light and set up the laptop.Three hours later my mum and brother woke up.Samuel wanted to go on the laptop but I said “No.”  He got really angry and ran out of the house, I couldn't care less, so I carried on.  Another four hours passed and it was 1:00.I was watching anime and eating lollies I hadn't seen Samuel for a while and I was wondering where he was, but soon forgot.

One hour, two hours, time began to pass by, but then suddenly...Samuel walked in. He demanded to go on but I yelled back “NO!”My mother was watching but she didn’t want to get involved because she knew we would sort it out soon.Samuel was so angry that he marched out of the room and slammed the doors, I was not surprised. He did that everything time. Still, I carried on what I was doing.

Finally I got bored at what I was doing and got off.When I looked at the time it was 3:30.Even though I felt like I was a hogger, I also felt happy with myself.I had broken my computer score by 15 minutes. Now my high score is 10 hours and
fifteen minutes. I felt so glad but,I also felt tired. I had woken up at Six o'clock and I was exhausted.

I hope I can make it 11 hours next time :)
